OH MY GOD!! Aku garuk-garuk dada sepanjang episode ini. Kecanggungannya berasa banget. The rivalry!! Huaaaaaa. Plot paling menarik sejauh ini. Mereka berdua tiba-tiba susah dibaca. Pertama kali aku seneng sama character development yang negatif.

Seeing Kohaku get a little jealous, even though he usually seems so calm, was super fun. Honestly, I’d feel exactly the same way as Yoi: having a handsome guy admit he’s jealous is a total cliché, but it makes your heart race like crazy. And I’ll say it again: I love the way they communicate! The fact that Kohaku is mature enough to acknowledge his jealousy really scores him major points. They’re reaching that stage where feelings are so intense that an almost instinctive need to "monopolize" the other person kicks in wanting their smiles, their attention, and their time all for yourself. It’s a very natural, real kind of selfishness when you’re falling deeply in love.

Damn, I wonder how the tension is going to build up with this new rivalry. I think Kohaku is not being subtle at all with how jealous he’s starting to be. He’s being a bit toxic. Well, he’s still being direct as ever. I wonder if it’s going to be a true rivalry between Oji and Kohaku; it really doesn’t seem like Oji is going to be that big of a rival. I really want to see more drama between them. I’m sure he’s going to fuck it up during this whole jealousy bit. I like that Yoi is really introspective; she’s not always vulnerable and confused about everything. I think she is way more proactive than other romance MCs. Ouhhhh, Kohaku snapped a bit; his armor is starting to break down. That’s some good development.

I did not know that we need Oji in order to elevate the story like this, but I understand why now. That scene with Kohaki and Yoi while they're going home really shine a light on Kohaku's character, it gives us layers beside the surface cool composed guy we see all previous five episodes (Even if there's crack here and there, like that tugging scene). And I do like how we're seeing it from Yoi's POV, which is nice, that means we get to unravel more of Kohaku later down the line.

This episode show’s turning point of their experiment. Showing both leads that they can be clumsy and insecure when it comes to love. It’s a slow burn, but the emotional payoff at the end of the episode makes the wait worth it.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Episode 5 pulled Yoi's growing feelings into sharper focus, and Episode 6 answers that by centering Kohaku's internal conflict, giving the relationship a crucial second perspective. This is a pivotal mid-season beat that deepens the emotional stakes of their 'trial' arrangement before things shift gears. It directly sets the stage for Episode 7's summer festival, where the groundwork laid here is poised to push their dynamic into new territory.
