Suka banget sama 3 part panel art yang mereka buat di sini. Aku kalau bikin art juga suka mengarah ke sana soalnya. Bisa membantu menggambarkan 2 sides sekaligus. Ooh, ada bumbu-bumbu second lead kah? Makin seru nih

This episode really tugged at my heartstrings! Those glances exchanged between the two are simply beautiful and convey so much. And to top it off, the sudden appearance of this new 'prince' changes everything... Could he be the romantic rival here to shake things up? This promises to make the dynamic super interesting.

Yeah, Yoi has a weird way of coping; she falls back to her prince behavior. I wonder why. I think she’s trying to avoid feeling vulnerable. A new character is introduced, and probably a love triangle and a rivalry are incoming. Their feelings for each other are developing quite well—what a great moment to introduce a possible rival, isn’t it? Kohaku’s life seems really lonely; it seems like he avoids those who worry about him, something that doesn’t happen with Yoi, and they’re not subtle about it. The spark of color in his life is Yoi.

Because we're already in episode 5 and there's no significant improvement to the animation, I'll keep it short, as it's still as stiff as the first episode. But the moments between Yoi and Kohaku are really cute, both the library scene and when they accidentally meet each other. I like how despite her doubt and nervousness with herself, Yoi always reacting positively to Kohaku's advancement, which makes us feel like they are budding in love. But I was shock that they introduce another character this late, as Yamamori-sensei's Hirunaka no Ryuusei, we got introduced to the second lead from the get-go.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming off Episode 4's misunderstandings between Yoi and Kohaku Ichimura, this episode pivots inward—Yoi's personal reckoning with her own emotions is the necessary bridge between confusion and clarity. It functions as a crucial character-building beat, giving Yoi the internal development she needs before the relationship dynamics can meaningfully evolve. The groundwork laid here feeds directly into Episode 6, where the shifting dynamics between Yoi and Kohaku are expected to gain new momentum.
