Fun pleasant episode for the most part. There were cute moments as well as deep insight.

watching Omi-sensei cry alone in her room after reading the list of casualties hit me so hard

That flower field scene looked so peaceful on the surface, but those cross fences in the background felt like total death flags. I really hope Sheena does not end up using that resurrection spell on Mimi later on because losing your own life for immortality is such a brutal tradeoff and this show keeps hinting at it

making cookies while talking about living forever as a meat shield for the military felt so unsettling and sad

Ari and Seiran sharing a bed and holding hands was super cute and the animators really put extra effort into that scene

my heart sank when Fran explained how Mimi's mom died just to bring her back as an immortal weapon that is so messed up

If I were Mimi', I'd be rebelling instead omg. Can't imagine how her life's been before the current events here T^T Whatever the nurse's grand scheme is, you go gurl!

The reveals in this episode are insane. But what surprised me more was the other sensei's POV 🥹 but it makes sense too bc whelp, everyone's human here 🥺

This episode was more dialogue heavy but the weight of the themes make you think, especially with Sheena’s internal monologue. I hate that there are death flags everywhere even if I haven’t read the manga 😭 but the dread is so heavy

Great world building episode. We learn just how terrible the war is going and why they need to resort to children. We also learn that the teacher isn't just some emotionless machine. Melancholic episode yes, but very solid imo

i like how we explore Sheena’s character, she is very compassionate to Mimi and she feels bad for Mimi, really enjoyed the scene in the flowers, still waiting for the GL though… is it going to be a love story???

More backstory on Mimi and some more cute moments.

Looks like its setting up for a long emotional trip explosion once the secret is out. Hope this is something we can get the answer to on 1 season, don't think it can go on for multiple season without the full reveal.
