Chie-chan is such a mood this episode! 🍭 The way she just accepts the chaos of the Strange Face Group while Yui is still processing it is hilarious. The slapstick physics in the classroom scene? Flawless! 🏫

Contrast to the 2nd episode, this episode was okay. Writing and the emotions were subtle with realistic, humane acts, particularly Chie and Amano scenes. The animation - camera zooming, panning in different angles were glitchy, maybe somehow preferred the old touch.

Oh my word, I didn't expect that, wow. A very wholesome episode, though I do believe it would have been better if the animation was better. Very enjoyable

Episode Context

With the first two episodes having established the Kimengumi's core lineup and their chaotic foothold in the school environment, Episode 3 shifts from introductions to exploring how these characters actually affect the people around them. This is an early-season character-deepening installment, still comedy-first, but beginning to layer in the relationship dynamics and group tensions that will fuel the remaining nine episodes. It sets the groundwork for the evolving friendships and rivalries that the mid-season will build upon.
