Turns out Nube’s demon hand has such a heartbreaking backstory behind it too… makes it even more emotional 🥺💔

Digging into Nube’s old memories really hits me in the feels… now I’m super curious how the story continues 🥹✨

Seeing the students tear up for Nueno when he fights helplessly against the yokai was heartwarming. It showed how far the group has come to trust one another and their teacher.

The episode didn't feel as lighthearted as the tone for the previous episodes, as there were no one time characters, and the story spanned across 2 episodes; though I feel like it could've been condensed into one, the structure took time to explore the plot and characters well.

Nube's relationship with his teacher could have been explored better.. She got quite little screen time and Nube did not really have a scene where he talked about his resolve in his memories. The students and him do not talk about it after either.

One highlight for me was the callbacks to Nube's past experiences and how it shaped his determination to save the students. Sometimes the show feels really disjointed in continuity and character payoffs due to several one time characters or yokai.

This episode took focus on Nube's past and his overwhelmingly strong Demon Hand! As implied by the title, his elusive powers are finally unearthed. His memories also help put into perspective his role as a teacher, alongside how long he has been a psychic.

Interesting EP, although there was little build up to the main plot of the episode and the whole thing felt really rushed. In terms of pacing, although it is meant to be depicted as a sudden occurrence leaving the characters no choice, the difference was jarring.

Alright episode with good one off characters. I hope Noriko is a returning character though, she seems to have at least a little more substance than the main cast. The story relies on one time specters that never appear again to keep the plot going,

The ghost mechanics were on point with scary conditions + a new type of ghost introduced! i.e. school mysteries, reminiscent on tbhk. The human behind Miss Mary felt really really underbaked though; which made the ending underwhelming for such a grandoise character.

This episode was really different in terms of tone and characters! The ghost introduced was done well and had great elements of horror and anticipation. The horror angle hasn't really been explored in previous episodes, so its good to see it in an anime about ghost hauntings

Nube-sensei's past wisdom and unwavering dedication to protect his students is peak mentor growth, even with that cliffhanger stress! 😤✨

Honestly my expectations were SKY HIGH from the trailer but Nube vs that Spirit Mist Fish actually went so hard??! the animation went crazy real hype payoff this time lets GOOO! 🤩

DUDE! The Remugyo with its regen power and those *eggs* on the students?! Legit, I paused at 0:12:34 and saw a flash in Nube's eyes that hints at his TRUE power! Major foreshadowing, this ep is P-E-A-K! 💯

OMG the fight scenes in this were pure food porn for my eyes, that spirit beast looked so *succulent* I'm starving for more episodes! 🥵

Remugyō is one of the coolest yokai so far!! Regenerative, relentless, and deadly. This ep kept me on edge, and Nube’s desperate tactics made it satisfying. Perfect setup for the next episode’s final showdown.

This episode nailed the horror vibes. The eggs on the kids’ backs? Creepy as hell. Watching Nube strategize and fight while keeping everyone alive made my heart race. True suspense from start to finish.

What a nail-biter! Seeing Nube fight against a monster that can literally kill his students was terrifying and emotional. You really feel his dedication and how much he puts himself on the line. The stakes couldn’t be higher.

Day of Annihilation? More like Day of No Laffs, my funny bone is still sealed away. 😐
