Finally got to see Kiruko’s past and why she’s hunting the guys in that photo. Man, what happened to her was dark, that hospital reveal is straight out of a nightmare. The contrast between the colorful racing scenes and the grim medical "fix" is insane. This show just keeps getting heavier.

This is really a post apocalyptic era. It’s scary and but undeniably inevitable. Men that’s hard, I remember AOT for second there. Tsk. It hurts so bad to see that. I remember the scene in Fullmetal Alchemy, that takes a lot of courage. This ep will hit you rock bottom but it’s confusing. iykiyk

Wow, I didn't expect that backstory. It explains so much about Kiruko's personality and why they are so determined. It's a bit sad, but it makes the characters feel much more real.
