Healer Girl
Oshimeter
Synopsis
An established discipline on par with conventional medical approaches, "vocal medicine" is the practice of using songs to treat health conditions and injuries. Young people around the world strive to master the art and become "healers" to help people through the power of their voices. Among the many healers in training is Kana Fujii, a naturally talented singer who was inspired to pursue the profession after a life-changing experience. Along with the driven Reimi Itsushiro and the easygoing Hibiki Morishima, Kana trains at Karasuma Phoniatric Clinic under the stern yet kind mentorship of Ria Karasuma. As they endeavor to achieve their dreams, Kana and her friends meet various colorful healers along the way, discovering that there is much more to vocal medicine than just diligent studying!

It becomes exciting to see how each healer starts walking their own path and improving in different ways. Even though they are separated by different places and experiences, their friendship remains strong and supportive. Each character reveals clear growth, development and maturity, making the emotional moment feel meaningful.
Relaxing instrumental background music creates a peaceful atmosphere, almost enough to make me sleepy. At the same time, this episode explores deeper emotional struggles between healer apprentices (Kana and her friends) that contrast with their normal personality. The story represents fear and insecurity realistically.
This story focuses more deeply on Hibiki’s insecurities and the pressure she feels while reaching her dream. Even though she usually appears cheerful towards others, this episode reveals the fear and uncertainty hidden inside her heart. The emotional conflict feels realistic.
Wow, that was a great opportunity for Kana and her friends to step closer toward their goal. Karasuma’s leadership shines in this episode because she carefully asks and considers every possible risk to her apprentice, showing how responsible and supportive she is. The hard work and harmony make the performance scenes feel intense.
This episode shows beautiful and healthy friendships between characters. Reimi’s personality becomes more emotional as she deeply respects her friends and tries hard to not act selfishly. Even though making big decisions is difficult for her, Reimi also cares about and supports the people around.
It's a funny episode, showing Sonia’s hardworking side but admirable way. Kana and her friends truly deserve appreciation for all the effort they put into. Their relationship continues developing slowly, making the story satisfying to watch. And Sonia’s decision also shows her mature and responsible personality.
Beside Sonia's appearance and attitude sometimes seem arrogant, but in a professional way, she still carries a strong sense of responsibility toward her duties as a healer and understands her own limitations. It’s impressive to see how much she cares about her friends and slowly opens herself to include them more closely in her life.
Kind of a lovely and warm family atmosphere through Hibiki and her siblings. The interactions between Kana, Reimi, and Hibiki’s siblings are entertaining, especially when they playfully compete with each other. The scenery is absolutely beautiful, truly a chef’s kiss for the whole story.
I’m excited when Kana and her friends begin doing their job despite still lacking experience. Even though they face tense and difficult moments, they still continue trying until the end and manage their responsibilities well. Their teamwork makes the story inspiring.
Hibiki’s character shows her mature personality compared to the others, especially the way she supports people around her. The episode keeps a comfortable atmosphere where Kana struggles where the others patiently teach and accompany her. The story also beautifully represents culture and spiritual performances.
I feel a little bit emotional because it’s like seeing your kid grow up and achieve their dreams. Their voice feels magical and how they sing was so calm and soothing in the ears. I like how the animation and the music improved, I want another season please.
A wholesome moment of friendship when Kana struggles with melodies during practice and keeps making mistakes, her friends still give supportive advice while admitting they also often practiced to improve their skills. This episode gives a comforting massage and supports each other to reach your goals.
Karasuma’s visuals always blow me away. She's so pretty T_T. The animation was so beautiful. I like how the color contrast and the visualization was so easy to watch. I also like the effects and I found it funny. The background music adds more dramatic effects too.
I’m seeing Hibiki in a new light. There’s a little bit of backstory. The family was so cozy making me miss my life in the province. The song was great as usual and I think the vocals are getting good than the previous episodes.
The background music was so soothing and Karasuma's voice actor was really good, her voice was so light and soft. The animation effects bring out more excitement and I think that kind of makes it easy to visualize the meaning of the song. And actually made me feel like that one time I'm doing medical internship, brings me back my memories.
I think this episode is kind of heavy and emotional for me. The dialogues are somewhat sad and the song was also emotional. You need to watch intently for the lyrics to understand the meaning behind it. I like how they managed to pull off a Disney like musical here.
Please don’t skip the opening song! This was fun to watch and I think this creates a deeper bond between the girls. I like how Sonia was confident and knew herself best. Ah, I'm really falling for white haired characters T_T. And omg, the music was so good! The rhythm and harmonizing were catchy and enjoyable.
I really can’t skip the opening song because it was really catchy. The uniform doesn’t give healer energy or is it just me? There’s some weird angle that made me feel a bit off. The song was really a banger, I just caught myself jamming with it every time. And the animation was really cutesy and soft.
This feels like a sort of vacation after all that work in the previous episodes. I like the green fields and everything because it reminds me of provincial life. Ria is really pretty, I think I have another crush now. And omg the night sky animation was really good, I like how it twinkles and the fireflies were really pretty.
I want to have Kana’s mindset, I think it’ll be helpful for me to be optimistic. The girls were funny and hilarious but their teamwork was amazing. The animation effects really get me every time, the different lighting, the fields color, and the details are on the top. The last one was kind of a jumpscare, I got scared for a second T_T.
