That’s right, Satou!! 😤 Don’t let that awful manager push you around!
Plot twist… Shio’s mom wasn’t a bad person. It was her abusive dad who caused everything. 😭
I can’t believe Satou actually stood up to her aunt 😭 She really made her face the consequences of what she’d done.
I think Shio is finally starting to doubt Satou… 🥺 She feels like she’s not needed by Satou anymore.
HOLY… 😭 Satou actually killed Shoko?!
I literally went “EWWW” when Satou tossed Shio’s used socks at Taiyou
This is the first time Satou’s aunt has shown up 👀 Now I’m even more curious about what’s going to happen next.
I need more of Shio and Asahi’s past 😭 There are still so many unanswered questions!
I’m so glad Satou found Shio-chan
I was SO shocked when Satou suddenly kissed his coworker 😭 I did not see that coming at all.
I’m crying 😭 Shio really went from Satou straight to Taiyou
Go, Satou!! 😭 Don’t let that pervy teacher get away with it!
This disturbing story finally comes to an end. The clue to the apartment Asahi has been searching for is something inconceivably obvious you question his intelligence. All key players converge like broken glass forced together as everything burns down. Satou does not get the punishment befitting for her actions, giving her the love she did not deserve in the end.
Asahi continues his hunt thanks to the efforts of Shoko, willing to do what it takes to find his sister. Satou confronts her aunt, the hypocrisy reeking off her deluded words. Regardless, as the walls begin to close in, Satou chooses to burn everything of her old life.
We are given an insight into Shio's life before Satou, before her mother grabbed her and left, done in a way that parallels her current actions as she goes around taking care of the chores at the apartment. It's well done, allowing us to understand the trauma inflicted upon Shio.
Satou's plan goes into action as Asahi confides in Shoko in a tender, if hilarious, moment, metaphorically kicking a man while he's down. Satou's delusions are growing ever stronger as her devotion to Shio begins to erode all common sense, crossing a line she hadn't before.
This episode's quality is unlike what came before. The first half is genuinely gripping and fascinating to watch, it uses unique sounds and animation to portray how Satou came to inhabit apartment no.1208. Though, it continues the habit of portraying Satou's horrible actions as defensible. Meanwhile the interactions between Asahi and Shoko are the highlights of this show.
Satou is forced to think on the fly as she's faced with a troubling dilemma. When it's not focusing on the relationship between her and Shio, the show does a great job in creating an unsettling atmosphere, using misdirection and twists to keep you second guessing.
We're given a clearer picture of Shio's background, the mysterious boy with the posters, and good-natured characters which are a breath of fresh air. While Satou realizes that she must take care of a loose end, other antagonistic forces work in the background against her for their own selfish desires, much like her own.
The conflict continues. While we are reminded of Satou's sins, the scenes of her struggles with her desire to be open to Shio are done in a fairly straightforward way. Shio's nonchalance is disturbing, hopefully setting up the moment where it all comes crashing down. So far, the animation is decent while the soundtrack continues to be unimpressive.
