Hinata begins improving his quick attack by actually tracking the ball mid air instead of jumping blindly. This small adjustment dramatically increases the potential of Karasuno’s fastest weapon.

Tsukishima acting all nonchalant but still helps gives such an "awe" factor to this episode. And Tobio finally letting loose!! Love it

Loved how Kageyama tries to set ball for his teammates. Indeed a character development! Learning from his senior adapting quickly shows Kageyama's quickness. The "King" is learning to serve his court! The 12-year bond between Iwaizumi and Oikawa is wholesome. Tsuki is about show his new attack I guess! Excited 💥⚡

I feel like it’s the first time I’m really seeing Tsukishima and Kageyama work together. The episode has a good kind of tension, making it exciting to watch. There’s so much to look forward to as their teamwork develops and the match keeps getting more intense.

It's fun to see Kageyama tries his best to comply with his teammates. and funny he tries so hard to want to work with Tsukihsima, given their dynamic. Also, Oikawa's backstory and how he really feels slightly inferior by Kageyama's genius status really hits.

This episode focuses on Kageyama's character development. It's great to see Kageyama finally open up to his teammates. Tsukushima is also able to give his best thanks to Kageyama's openness. There's a long flashback scene, but that's what really helped me understand Oikawa.

It’s getting more and more nerve-wracking to watch as Kageyama returns to his usual form. Tsukishima is stepping up and analyzing the game in his own way, Hinata is scoring with the new signals, and Oikawa’s team is fired up and ready to respond.

This episode stressed me out in the best way. Every point felt fragile. with the potential for Karasuno to make a bad move and Seijoh will then leave them behind for good. I could feel the pressure on my shoulder for the entire episode. But at the same time it's exciting to watch

EPISODE CONTEXT

Positioned at episode 22 of 25, 'Evolution' arrives during the critical match against Aoba Johsai, following the previous episode's exploration of Karasuno's senpai stepping up under pressure. Kageyama's return to the court and his renewed focus on team cohesion marks a turning point in the match's emotional arc. This directly sets up 'The Point that Changes the Momentum,' where the adjustments forged here begin to pay dividends as the season races toward its climax.
