EPISODE REVIEWS
As a starter of the points of this first episode I can say has a pretty good animation for the year it was made: which was 2004, I believe it has some gaps and give very few details about the story coming up.
A classic early-2000s ecchi action comedy by Studio Live. being shown in this pisode The visual direction leans heavily on bright colours and highly expressive, bouncy character animations. The action graphics pop whenever Rushuna uses her incredible, superhuman speed.
This episode is a lighthearted, fanservice heavy action comedy with a protagonist who's genuinely fun to watch. The action choreography is solid, Rushuna's positivity is infectious, and Yajirō's cynical samurai act is a good foil. It's not groundbreaking, but it doesn't have to be. If you're in the mood for a goofy, retro action show with a weirdly wholesome vibe, this is a solid start.
