This episode is a lighthearted, fanservice heavy action comedy with a protagonist who's genuinely fun to watch. The action choreography is solid, Rushuna's positivity is infectious, and Yajirō's cynical samurai act is a good foil. It's not groundbreaking, but it doesn't have to be. If you're in the mood for a goofy, retro action show with a weirdly wholesome vibe, this is a solid start.
