EPISODE REVIEWS

the core plot has been entirely abandoned at this point in favor of city-wide misunderstandings. it functions as a comedy, but offers nothing of value narratively.

Episode Context

Sitting at the two-thirds mark of a 12-episode season, episode 8 pivots from the competitive antics of 'Doubles' to a money-hustling setup that feeds directly into the group's planned Okinawa trip, a destination that will likely anchor the season's final stretch. The bartending misadventures here bridge the gap between earlier club shenanigans and the upcoming 'Truth or Dare' episode, where the social dynamics being reinforced now should pay off in more character-driven comedy.
