advising the audience to entirely turn off their brains to enjoy the show highlights its lack of substance, relying heavily on aggressive yaoi-baiting and 'dude bro' humor.

The misunderstandings are great to provide comical aspects into this episodes. Iori’s new friends have come to his place. If playing dirty was a competition, no one could beat the duo. The tennis match was really entertaining, and it offered a solid laugh to the watchers.

Finally I saw Iori actually being good at something (other than drinking) is a great bit of character development! And that tinker ball challenges are intense and kind of awkward! Poor Chisa😅- what an embarrassment!

The cheering for Chisa was pure gold, poor girl was extremely embarrassed. The match between Iori and Kouhei was both epic and funny. The comedy and jokes are spot on.

The group dynamic hits peak stupidity here—in the best way possible. Every interaction turns into a war of embarrassment and betrayal, and Iori keeps losing every round. It’s loud, dumb, and insanely fun, though the humor might feel overwhelming if you’re not used to it 😭

The second half is easily the best part of the show so far, that tennis match had me dying! seeing iori actually try for once while kohei just stands there failing at everything is pure comedy, especially with the nice body chants and chisa looking so done with life.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming off Episode 6's focus on establishing diving buddy partnerships, Episode 7 deliberately pulls the cast out of the water to stress-test those same relationships through competition on a tennis court. It's a mid-season palate cleanser that deepens the group dynamics between Iori, Chisa, Kōhei, and the senior members before Episode 8, 'Men's Cocktails,' escalates the social chaos even further. At the halfway mark of this 12-episode run, the show is fully committed to proving these characters are just as entertaining—and destructive—on land as they are underwater.
