EPISODE CONTEXT
Coming off 'Coworkers,' where Iori's part-time job introduced a familiar face and fresh comedic fuel, episode nine escalates the interpersonal entanglements that have been building through the back half of the season. Sitting at the three-quarter mark of a twelve-episode run, this is where Grand Blue Season 2 starts threading its relationship threads tighter before the final stretch. It directly sets up 'Movie Date' in episode ten, where the romantic stakes push even further with Iori being asked out.
