Somewhat a Bōtaro-focused episode (although everyone has its own role to play), that still never fail to deliver on action scenes, especially during the car chase!

Words can't express how insane everthing's getting, from a treasure hunt, to a murder case, into an over the top chase sequence. Even better, it's all excellently animated all throughout. But the episode takes a hard swing back due to a heartbreaking moment midway, so get ready.

Great episode with so many things happening. It genuinely made me feel angry, sad, and anxious in just 24 minutes. The stakes felt incredibly high, and I was locked in the whole time.

Episode Context

Coming off the internal fractures exposed within Tsurumi's ranks in episode 3, this episode marks the true breakout moment that transitions the final season from localized confrontation into full-scale open pursuit across Hokkaido. Botaro's independent agenda reshuffles faction dynamics and forces every competing party to recalibrate. It lays the groundwork for the high-stakes scramble over Asirpa and the tattoo map that will drive the remainder of the season.
