POR QUE LLEVAN ESO CON ELLOS?! naa este capitulo me pareció demasiado.... no es normal, para ninguno de ellos, este nuevo personaje es peor pero que lo hagan competencia me parece todavía más turbio....

Such a great exploration of what being gay in school feels like, and what it feels like to crush on someone who is seemingly straight and how much it hurts. Very accurate. Broke my heart and built it back up again in every episode. I adore them both.

This episode introduces a new rival and creates plenty of awkward situations. The fresh dynamic is nice, and the rivalry added tension for the comedy

Episode Context

Coming off the lighter, ghost-story-flavored Episode 7, this installment raises the emotional stakes for Nakamura by introducing a potential rival for Hirose's attention, a complication the series has been building toward. At Episode 8 of 13, the season is entering its final stretch, making this a pivotal moment for Nakamura's character growth and the central relationship's development. The rival's arrival sets up the emotional groundwork that the remaining five episodes will likely carry to a resolution.
