Go For It, Nakamura-kun!! Episode 8: Crisis! A Rival Appears?!

This episode introduces a new rival and creates plenty of awkward situations. The fresh dynamic is nice, and the rivalry added tension for the comedy

The start of the chapter left me in shock, but I knew I was dreaming hahaha, poor Nakamura. It was really fun watching the fight between Ko and Nakamura; they’re truly obsessed with Hirose.

Great episode! The "rival" character introduced is equally and charming and fun to watch, although he probably isn't a recurring character.. the way Nakamura and him interact were also really funny, and the fact they were arguing in front of the school gate?? I thought Hirose would walk in on them sharing photos of him; that would be pretty creepy though..

The animation seems to be depreciating a bit, but the story remains really fun and entertaining. This episode features a fun spin on the jealousy trope often shown in romance anime, and I found it pretty funny how Matsumura didn't see the nametag on the uniform even after using it throughout middle school..

I haven't had such a good laugh in a while! The charismatic aspects of this series feel like they've returned. It always amazes me how the series manages to relay Nakamura's delusional crush with Hirose in a funny and relatable manner instead of something obviously one-sided and hard to watch.
