Such a great exploration of what being gay in school feels like, and what it feels like to crush on someone who is seemingly straight and how much it hurts. Very accurate. Broke my heart and built it back up again in every episode. I adore them both.

The school culture festival~!! It's the usual fare: Butler café, outdoor stalls, and a school play~ I love that this school event is a way to bring everyone together... We see the return of the funny characters we've met in previous episodes 😂 Though of course, this anime keeps things fresh and we get a new cast member in this ep: And it's a person who makes Nakamura-kun question his very identity?! 😳 I laughed way too many times in this ep LOL.

Episode 9, 'CULTURE FESTIVAL!', was such a heartwarming experience. Nakamura-kun's shy excitement to see Hirose-kun at the butler café was so endearing, and my heart genuinely ached a little with his disappointment when he wasn't there. It's those small, vulnerable moments that make his journey so relatable. The quirky detour with the occult club added a nice touch of wholesome humor, and I loved seeing his persistent, quiet efforts to connect with Hirose-kun. The ending shot with the bracelet was just precious, perfectly capturing his gentle devotion. This show beautifully portrays the innocence of first love and the charming struggles of an introverted character. I'm really rooting for Nakamura-kun!

Watching Nakamura searching for Hirose made me realize how wholesome his mundane life is to watch. Todoroki and Kawamura are amazing supportive characters! Nakamura's actually pretty grounded when he's not obsessing over Hirose; I found that pretty charming.

A super cute spin on the school festival (and play) trope! This series' playful and unserious tone feels well-suited and meshed really well with the concept too.

Looks like Nakamura's lucky bracelet actually worked! All the seemingly mundane sequences of events came together to lead him to Hirose. It was so cute to watch! I hope the guy in the teddy bear suit becomes a recurring character too!
