Such a great exploration of what being gay in school feels like, and what it feels like to crush on someone who is seemingly straight and how much it hurts. Very accurate. Broke my heart and built it back up again in every episode. I adore them both.

Another episode that makes me laugh a lot. Damn, I love the moment when Hirose gets scared and grabs Nakamura—there’s no longer any fear of touching each other. Nakamura is in heaven.

This episode is hilarious 😂. It turned into a horror concept, but the funny parts were delivered well. Nakamura and Hirose's moments were still there and made the scene not too horror because of them. Overall, an enjoyable episode to watch.

This is not your usual summer episode. Aokiyama's return makes sure of that, especially with the film club member Tamura added into the mix 🤣😂 Loved the cute moment between Nakamura-kun and Hirose-kun in this one. They're so much closer now 🥺🫶 The ghostly twist at the end made me LOL though!!

Oh damnn the scenes between Hirose and Nakamura were so entertaining in this episode! Although their relationship feels framed more as comedic relief rather than romance now. I'm kind of rooting for Hifumi and Nakamura? She's such a sweet and genuine character too

The story was a little hard to follow from the point where the film club came in. Previous episodes had premises and arcs that felt true to this story's high school setting, which made it funny because of how relatable (ish) Nakamura's struggles were.

The haunted school trope done right! It was so funny with this series' humor and characters, like the story was engineered for it. The flow was also so natural, I never stopped to wonder how or why such funky scenarios could happen to Nakamura no matter how weird they were.

I actually screamed when Hirose grabbed Nakamura by the belt because that was so unexpected and my boy was definitely panicking inside while trying to look cool in the science room

Watching Hirose grab Nakamura by the belt in the science room was so intense and hilarious because Nakamura looked like he was about to short circuit right there on the spot

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting at the midpoint of a 13-episode season, this episode arrives just after Nakamura and Hirose's friendship has found steadier footing, offering a breather from emotional development in favor of pure comedic relief. It functions as a palette cleanser that reinforces the ensemble dynamic before the back half of the season likely steers things in a more emotionally charged direction. The shared experiences here quietly continue building the camaraderie that will matter when stakes rise later.
