EPISODE CONTEXT
Sitting at the midpoint of the season, Episode 5 builds directly on the emotional groundwork laid in Episode 4, where Nakamura's feelings for Hirose became more clearly defined. This episode deepens those feelings by introducing jealousy as a new complicating factor, pushing Nakamura toward greater self-awareness about what he actually wants. It sets up Episode 6, 'I Want to Be Friends With You!!', where the tension between friendship and something more will likely come into sharper focus.
