Such a great exploration of what being gay in school feels like, and what it feels like to crush on someone who is seemingly straight and how much it hurts. Very accurate. Broke my heart and built it back up again in every episode. I adore them both.

The comedy was the highlight this time. It kept building on Nakamura's lovable awkwardness. The direction and facial expressions sell the jokes well.

Everything was so unhinged and it’s making me laugh nonstop. Nakamura’s reaction definitely feels so real. Like that's probably the right reaction irl. And I love the progress between them.

Another progress moment without much time to take a break. Fast paced progress with enjoyable moments, but a little bit of a horror concept here. But it still doesn't matter. It's funny to watch and never boring!

Visually, it’s hilarious to see Nakamura lurking in the corners, seething with jealousy. And it’s funny that he calls the girl from the occult club "weird," considering he’s a weirdo himself

Loved the introduction of a new character and the use of the "holy water" made for some really cute moments between Nakamura and Hirose. The retro vibes of this anime remain intact and the ending song was great as always.

THIS EP IS PURE SEROTONIN 😭💕 Nakamura-kun's overloaded imagination spots are so cute and silly, and the introduction of the ojousama Aokiyama is friggin' hilarious. The sudden strokes of luck for Nakamura are so satisfying to watch, too. He's finally getting somewhere with Hirose 🥺!!

The punk biker gang twist was really funnyy, the way they spoke and their real intentions caught me off guard. I was surprised at first, since their appearance was the first real threatening/dangerous presence in the show; but the show stays true in its unseriousness.

I really appreciate how they keep Hirose and Nakamura's interactions realistic and honest! Hirose just approaches others without thinking much about it, while Nakamura thinks the whole day about one interaction. They properly talk in this episode, and I already like their dynamic

Peak delivered yet again. Themes that are simple in concept, yet such creative ways to interpret it within Nakamura's world. WIth Aokiyama's addition in the story, the plot is strengthened with another charming character! The soundtrack goes hard too

My heart melted during Nakamura's flower fantasy. So pure and silly I couldn't stop smiling. This episode started so strong.

Okay, my favorite part was definitely all of Nakamura's fantasies about being best friends with Hirose, especially the sleepover one with the shared futon. It was so over the top and pure, you can really feel how much he wants to be close to Hirose. And then when the "holy water" actually seemed to work and they walked home together, I was seriously grinning. It's just so wholesome watching him get so excited over small things.

The opening was pretty funny but then it got a little repetitive with Nakamura's internal monologues still some charming moments

I couldn't stop laughing at Nakamura trying so hard to get Hirose's attention the whole "best friend" fantasy sequence was gold
