Wasn't expecting Babban and Jiro to vibe like that. I thought they'd hate each other, but Babban was genuinely thrilled to reunite with a strong and worthy rival.

Jiro is very brave when and he chooses to confront Babban after being advised by kumi not to show up

Episode Context

Sitting at the exact midpoint of the 12-episode season, this episode pivots from the group's external journey to Jiiro's internal one, following the challenges introduced in episode 4, 'The Drifting Spear.' It deepens the personal stakes before the series transitions into its back half, directly setting up episode 6, 'An Inescapable Shadow,' which looks to escalate the consequences of past decisions and unresolved tensions.
