Togusa getting his own investigation arc was great. the slower pace let him shine as a character. His dynamic with Ruriko was interesting while it lasted. the atmosphere during the underground scenes was eerie. love how this ties into the bigger picture.

Togusa is investigating what looks like a routine hit-and-run in Tokyo, and it keeps pulling him deeper until he stumbles onto something the GSDF has been burying underground, literally. This is one of those quiet episodes that feels mundane until it doesn't.
