The Etorofu setting from the movies was cool to see. that decaying, isolated atmosphere hit different. Motoko exploring alone gave the episode a lonely vibe. the Tachikoma dropping an Evangelion reference made me laugh ngl. nostalgia and mystery mixed perfectly.

Section 9 heads to Etorofu looking for Kuze, and Motoko finds a floppy disk on a dead addict that opens up a whole new layer of what's actually going on. The remote northern setting feels isolating and the fog gives the episode a paranoid setting.
