Togusa going through it this ep. the courtroom drama was intense and the way they explored his character was great. Motoko and the team doing what they do best behind the scenes. his relationship with his wife feels so real. solid character-focused episode.

This is one of the best episodes in the season. The courtroom format lets the show flex its political and legal intelligence in a completely different arena, and watching Aramaki navigate it from the outside while Togusa sits in the hot seat is gripping.

Togusa off duty. a guy gets killed. Togusa is the suspect. internal affairs is breathing down his neck. turns out he was framed. the dead guy was connected to something bigger. Section 9 has to clear his name while also dealing with the main case. 😶

Ah man, Togusa relaxed too soon…I liked Major's design for this episode, she was oddly on-model, but her outfit was a nice mix between a cheongsam and a suit which I quite liked. Great episode though, it is really on point.

I get really annoyed with the way sometimes the animation style just drops, or is it just me?
A lot of things can really get annoying here in this anime. Anyway, a great episode, I highly enjoyed tribunal and lawyer thrillers and this one was pretty well-made.
