Ghost Cat Anzu

📖 SYNOPSIS

In rural Japan, young Karin is left by her father and must now live with her grandfather in a temple. Her new guardian is Anzu, a massive, indolent “ghost cat” tasked with looking after her. Karin, distrustful of Anzu, actively works against him, disrupting his attempts to perform odd jobs for the local townsfolk. She instead finds solace in befriending the eccentric forest spirits. Seeking to gain Karin's affection, Anzu accidentally makes a deal with the devil, setting the stage for unforeseen consequences and a descent into chaos. The story explores themes of family, responsibility, and the unexpected bonds that can form in the face of adversity.
