The House of the Lost on the Cape

📖 SYNOPSIS

Seventeen-year-old Yui and eight-year-old Hiyori, both adrift and without a home, encounter Kiwa, an eccentric elderly woman. Kiwa invites them to stay in Mayoiga, an old house overlooking the sea. The house is said to look after lost travelers. Despite their initial hesitation, the girls find comfort and healing within Mayoiga's walls, particularly through Kiwa's warm hospitality. Hiyori, who lost her family and her voice, and Yui, a runaway, begin to mend their damaged hearts. However, their peaceful existence is disrupted by the appearance of "Fushigitto," strange beings that begin to appear around the house, adding an element of the unknown to their newfound sanctuary.
