This ep got me thinking 'is this how my ancestors felt when we got colonized' :') the gap in technology and the psychological effect that comes with this kind of circumstance are crazyyy

Modern tech seems like no joke to normal military from the isekai world. Also, Youji brings in a comedy makes the eps more fun to watch.

Episode Context

Following Episode 1's gate-opening chaos and the initial incursion into the Special Region, this episode pivots to consequences, both military and political, as both sides recalibrate their strategies. It establishes the Empire's internal politics through Emperor Molt and locks Itami into his recon leadership role, which becomes the structural backbone for the rest of the season. This is foundational setup for the deeper exploration of the Special Region's people, politics, and conflicts that will unfold across the remaining ten episodes.
