EPISODE CONTEXT
Sitting at the midpoint of the 113-episode run, this concluding half of a filler two-parter steps outside the main journey to explore Tetsuro and Maetel's adaptability when stripped of their usual advantages. It follows directly from Episode 60, where the pair first arrived on this Earth-like planet and drew curiosity from its locals. While self-contained and non-essential to the overarching odyssey toward the mechanical body, it sets a reflective tone before the series resumes its forward momentum.
