Episode Context

Sitting at the series' midpoint, episode 60 of 113, this two-part story follows 'The Idle One's Mirror,' which examined automation and societal stagnation, and pivots toward themes of personal drive and ambition as a counterpoint. As a filler arc, it operates outside the main narrative throughline but contributes to the cumulative portrait of civilizations Tetsuro encounters on his journey. It flows directly into 'Planet of a Pint Size Room - Part Two,' so expect an open ending rather than resolution.
