Sheska having a literal photographic memory is so cool, and it is amazing how she turned her obsession with books into the only way to get the research back

I am honestly still shaking after finding out that humans are the ingredient for the stone, and it makes the whole journey feel so much darker now and seeing Ed and Al realize their dream is built on a pile of bodies felt like a heavy weight in my chest and I also loved the weird telepathy scene with Garfiel because I really needed that laugh after the library stuff

I still cannot believe the price for a philosophers stone is actual people and my heart really sank for Ed and Al when they figured it out in the research notes
aerith_gainsborough's avatar
aerith_gainsborough
I can't believe the Philosopher's Stone is made of actual human beings and the way the brothers reacted to that news hit me so hard because it ruins everything they believed in, and seeing Sheska help them out by remembering all those burnt notes was such a huge relief after the library was destroyed because now they actually have a chance to find another way

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming off 'Road of Hope' and the Elrics' continued pursuit of the Philosopher's Stone, episode 7 marks a critical pivot from searching to discovering — and what they find reshapes their entire quest. This is the calm before a significant storm, as the information uncovered here feeds directly into the harrowing 'Fifth Laboratory' arc that follows. At just episode 7 of 64, Brotherhood is efficiently laying foundational threads that will pay off across the entire series.
