Character so good they decided to dedicate two episodes to her. Honestly, I love the way they've done this; it gets a good amount of screentime to portray Tooru's mom in a great way, too.

How Uotani shakes off the feeling of embarrassment shows what she was missing altogether. Obviously, she realises how it would be better to leave the gang life. Although it was troublesome, she finally managed to do so. And she earned herself a peaceful adobe.

This episode is a full continuation of Uotani’s backstory. I love her bond with Honda’s mom—it feels like she’s family. Uotani’s character development is really great too, makes sense why she’s now so caring toward her friends.
