The remake of this anime is so nicely done, the pacing has improved quite a bit, and the flow of the story makes a lot more sense. Uo-tani has also got an incredible amount of screen-time, and that's honestly great lore<3 She's my favourite character.
Hanajima and Uotani suggested everyone should go to buy a swimsuit for Tohru. Yuki and Kyo were forced to tag along. A discussion at the table reveals how Uotani comes to be friends with Tohru. The image of Tohru’s mother was contradicting as Uotani finally meets her.
We love a pool scene, really brings that summer vibe! Such a heartwarming opening. Honda’s friends are so caring, I’m jealous! Turns out Uo-chan’s kindness comes from her pretty dark past. Now I’m curious if Hanajima has a backstory too.
