Seeing Saki and Maria go to such lengths to protect their friend from the village's justice is sad. The atmosphere in the snowy wilderness perfectly mirrors the cold, isolated reality they've been pushed into. I think more terrific things gonna happen .

Pfft, they really put a hit on Mamoru's ass with this one. And twice at that... It's still a wonder to me how the cats managed not to one-shot him. The "finding Mamoru" episode was mostly them trekking through the snow cuz dude could not communicate.
