EPISODE REVIEWS

The fight choreo using leg sweeps and pommel strikes instead of giant magic beams was so cool to watch. Real martial arts hit way harder

Episode Context

Episode 5 pushed Beryl through an external threat with the Saber Boar subjugation, testing the group dynamic and highlighting Curuni and Landrid's roles alongside him. Episode 6 uses the aftermath to pivot inward, bringing Beryl face to face with Mordea and his own personal history at the midpoint of the season. Sitting at episode 6 of 12, this is the hinge of the cour, where the show shifts from establishing Beryl's world to examining what shaped him.
