EPISODE CONTEXT
Following the individual tournament events of the preceding episodes where each Iwatobi member confronted personal limits, episode 8 marks the critical pivot point from solo ambition to team unity around the medley relay. It sits at the two-thirds mark of a 12-episode season, functioning as the emotional reset before the final competitive arc. Everything from here forward builds toward the relay and the resolution of Haruka and Rin's fractured relationship.
