Episode Context

Episode 42 sits deep within the Cassandra prison infiltration arc, continuing directly from the group's breach into the fortress to rescue Toki, a mission that represents one of Kenshiro's most personal stakes yet. The confrontations with Ken-Oh's elite guards escalate the threat level significantly, establishing just how far Raoh's reach extends. This episode bridges the mid-infiltration chaos with the arc's approaching climax, setting up critical consequences that will ripple through the episodes immediately ahead.
