Episode Context

Sitting at roughly the 40% mark of the full 109-episode run, this episode closes out the Cassandra prison arc that has driven recent episodes, culminating in Kenshiro's mission to free Toki from captivity. The fall of Cassandra marks a major structural turning point, resolving one of the series' longest-running threads while rewriting the dynamics between the Hokuto brothers. What follows will introduce new adversaries and escalate the overarching conflict, making this a critical hinge point between the show's early arcs and its mid-series expansion.
