Episode Context

Coming off the revelation of Cassandra prison's horrors in episode 40, this recap serves as a deliberate pause before the story escalates into direct confrontation with Ken-Oh's forces. It bridges the earlier arcs, Kenshiro's encounters, alliances, and losses, with the looming threat now materializing at Cassandra's gates. At episode 41 of 109, the series is approaching a major turning point, and this reflective interlude signals that the stakes are about to shift dramatically.
