Episode Context

Picking up directly from 'The Courage to Live,' this is the second-to-last episode of Rising and continues the late-season deep dive into Kamogawa and Nekota's past, a flashback arc that recontextualizes the mentor figure who has shaped Ippo's entire career. 'Iron Fist' serves as the dramatic peak of their backstory before the season finale 'A Vow' closes out both their arc and the season as a whole. This stretch of episodes trades present-day tournament action for foundational character work that enriches everything that came before it.
