Episode Context

Sitting at episode 23 of 25, this installment continues a late-season shift away from Ippo's fights toward the historical roots of his mentors, following the events of 'Flower of Hope.' It deepens the emotional foundation of the Kamogawa-Nekota relationship and directly sets up 'Iron Fist,' the penultimate episode, by laying bare the sacrifices and motivations that define Kamogawa's philosophy as a trainer.
