This episode slows the pace after an intense match and focuses heavily on character psychology. Instead of action, we get reflection and it works surprisingly well.

Episode Context

As episode 25 of 25, 'A Vow' serves as the definitive conclusion to Rising's Post-War Arc, following the intense events of 'Iron Fist' and bringing resolution to the personal narrative threads that have been building across the season's final stretch. The episode transitions from the high-stakes confrontations of recent episodes into a more contemplative space, reflecting on the journeys of Ippo and the cast while leaving the door open for future chapters in their boxing careers. It functions as both an emotional payoff for the season and a forward-looking send-off that honors the show's core themes of perseverance and dedication.
