EPISODE REVIEWS

Un episodio que desarrolla la relación entre Kirei y Gilgamesh. Kirei a pesar de que por momentos daba asco, era un buen antagonista. Sus diálogos y discusiones con el rey de reyes eran de lo mejor.

This feature begins to display Kirei's color. The devil is whispering in his ear, and the Grail is calling. Gilgamesh and Kirei have such a terrible yet alluring chemistry. A master class in writing characters.

Episode Context

As episode 12 of 13, this is the penultimate chapter of Fate/Zero's first cour, arriving after a stretch of escalating confrontations and serving as a deliberate cooldown that refocuses on the psychological warfare underpinning the Holy Grail War. The episode repositions key players, particularly Kirei and Archer, ahead of the first season's conclusion, crystallizing character motivations that will drive the explosive second half. It functions as both a reflective checkpoint on everything the war has revealed so far and a critical narrative bridge into the season finale.
