One of the best episode, Jack vs Alcides!

Other than the top-tier fights, the Overseer is surprisingly doing his job well haha. Can't wait to see a showcase of his comrades tho someday, for sure they aren't just for design purposes. Sigma and Assassin's dialogue hits deep too. Great callback from previous title parallels

Everyone is in the fray now! Whelp almost, but still! Saber is such an agreeable guy, still making friends even in the midst of war. Great matchup with Archer.

Jack showcase!! Omg where do I even start? The animation was peak from start to finish, never a dull moment here. Even the dialogue talking about ideals, such great theme. Just a bit sad with the conclusion though but the art design is so intricately detailed.

This was such an amazing episode with full-blown fight scenes that were incredibly thrilling to watch. Alcides vs. Jack the Ripper had such a chef’s kiss animation that made the entire battle even more satisfying.

The confrontation between Jack the Ripper and Alcides was definitely unsettling and intense—in a good way that keeps your eyes glued to the screen. This episode delivered a really gripping and memorable clash.

This was chaotic, crazy, and totally badass. I mean, this is *that* kind of episode where everything turns into a full-on showdown. The animation absolutely slaps, and the fight scenes were amazing from start to finish.

This episode is mostly fight, all the fight is good but filled with good dialogue too for character development. The direction that make you take side with killer is awesome, overall this episode is peak

Jack the Ripper's confrontation with Alcides is one of the more unsettling sequences in the show. Similar to a clash of philosophies, with both figures representing something fundamentally broken about the war's foundations.

Sigma's choice to fully commit to Ayaka and Richard's alliance rather than remain a passive pawn is handled quietly without a grand speech, just a decision which makes it land better due to his already quiet nature.

Okay this is definitely more of a cooldown episode after the intensity of ep 8. Clan Calatin repairing their Noble Phantasms at Caster's workshop is necessary setup but doesn't hit as hard. Still solid worldbuilding, just not as exciting as recent weeks.

A transitional episode focused on recovery and repositioning. The Clan Calatin workshop sequences provide useful mechanical worldbuilding but lack the dramatic tension of recent entries. Flat's infiltration subplot maintains interest. Competent setup for the coming arc.

This ep is definitely more chill compared to the last few bangers. Clan Calatin getting their stuff fixed at Caster's workshop is cool lore-wise but not exactly edge-of-seat content. Flat sneaking around the police station is fun though. Setup episode vibes.

Binge worthy! This ep ramps up combat while teasing narrative threads. The episode is well-paced, balancing character development and war escalation in a way that rewards close attention

The writers and animators might be chefs because they cooked too hard in this episode. Plot twists for dinner, it seems. Can't wait for next week's drop; I already have high hopes for it!

The hospital scene? Executed too good. The episodes keep getting better, the animation remains consistent and some frames just deserve to he printed onto t-shirts—it's just that good.

This episode does not disappoint, very much worth the wait for binging. The whole rescue mission got me at the edge of my seat, and the soundtrack delivers just that extra layer of tension.

The matchup on this episode really delivered! Richard's actions which irritated Gilgamesh was a bit of a surprise, due to how the two clashed during the battle filled with mayhem.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting at episode 9 of 13, this is the hard pivot from setup to payoff — the strategic groundwork and character positioning from 'Backstage of a Third-rate Comedy' erupts into the full-scale conflict the series has been building toward. Multiple threads that were developing independently now crash into each other, marking the beginning of the endgame stretch. This episode directly sets the stage for 'Gold and Lion,' promising that the escalation here is only the opening salvo of the season's climactic run.
