It took a while but there's finally movement again with the police force. Been waiting for that Caster to have some kind of showcase and deliver with his promise to that one kid about a new arm. It was too short for my taste tho

In such little time, we get to see character development from Sigma, which in turn influences Assassin too. Would it be too much to ask to see them tag team soon???

Been waiting for a Flat spotlight. Finally this episode delivered. His magecraft is very distinct compared to the other Masters. Would love to see him in a fight.

Watching the police force get involved is such a cool twist on the Grail War. The colors in the night scenes are gorgeous. Total banger.

Great episode, especially seeing a bit of Flat’s backstory with his mentor. He really carried this episode like it was nothing. Flat absolutely owned this moment and made the whole episode even better.

Oh, dang. Flat Escardios being the MVP of this episode was something I didn’t expect, but it was definitely something I wanted to happen. It was great finally seeing him show off those abilities!

It was nice seeing Flat finally show his abilities. He really gives off that golden retriever energy, or even Kenji Miyazawa-like energy from BSD. Lol. Watching him step up in this episode was honestly very satisfying.

Weird episode, cus this is flat character development ep, but most flat backstory is cut. This make the setup for next battle more good though. The rooftop scene is beautiful, overall i gave it 7/10

This episode was the calm before the storm, as the pieces were set in place. Clan Calatin regroups, alliances solidify, and the threat surrounding the hospital begins to sharpen into something unavoidable.

Flat Escardos carrying an entire episode on his shoulders and making it a 9.1 on IMDb is LEGENDARY. The hospital rescue sequence is so tense and his unique magical abilities finally get the spotlight they deserve. This kid is special.

Episode 8 smartly pivots to character-driven stakes, centering Flat's unconventional magical abilities within the hospital rescue framework. The visual focus on micro-expressions and subtle animation sells the internal conflicts effectively. Best character episode yet.

FLAT ESCARDOS SUPREMACY THIS EPISODE. The way he approaches magic completely differently from every other mage is what makes him so fascinating. The hospital sequence with Tsubaki is so tense and emotional. Flat being Flat saves the whole vibe honestly.

Unpredictability of Strange Fake. Each Servant’s abilities interact in complex ways, making the war feel like a chessboard of magic and power O_O

Slowly but sure, each characters has their own unexpected backstory! both the servants & the masters. The interaction between Faldeus and his servant is really intense, combined with its perfect background music.

There is already tension between Sigma and other characters due to his beliefs, or lackthereof. His relationship/ceasefire with the hooded assasin grows to a more stable one, as he tells her about his past.

Flat carried this episode. He navigated Caster's workshop using an unorthodox but efficient method, and it feels like he operates on a different wavelength from the others.

The whole episode is a set up for a whole big fight that coming, my god how can they always making a normal episode like this THIS HYPE

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting at the season's midpoint pivot, episode 8 follows the divine escalation of 'Back from Twilight, the God Is Come' by deliberately pulling back to ground-level perspectives, exploring how non-Mage factions like the Snowfield Police are navigating the Holy Grail War's chaos. It functions as a strategic setup episode, deepening alliances and rivalries that will likely fuel the back half of the 13-episode run. With five episodes remaining, this installment lays essential groundwork for the confrontations ahead while broadening the scope of who has a stake in Snowfield's war.
