EPISODE REVIEWS

A large chunk of this episode centers on the characters trying to find some semblance of a regular life amidst the lingering threat of absolute destruction. Watching them interact, laugh, and just exist like normal human beings is deeply touching, but it gives you that sinking feeling in your stomach because you know how fragile this peace is on Tatsumiya Island.

The more I watch, the more I realize this story is much bigger than I first thought. Every new location and every conversation makes the world feel more alive. I also appreciate that the series isn't rushing to answer every mystery. Normally I'd be frustrated, but somehow I'm just more curious. It's slowly earning my trust with each episode.

I'm still a little lost because of the pacing but I'm getting it little by little. As everything unfolds, it gets a little more clear as to the role of the core. As expected, they did indeed end up having to pilot the hidden away mechs which only means things will get exciting. Now only thing left is to watch how this all unfolds because things are getting nasty. It's getting better for sure.
