Fafner Exodus Episode 3: The Price of a Conversation

I actually didn't mind that this episode slowed things down. Fafner has always been at its best when the characters simply sit down and talk because those conversations always carry so much weight. Kazuki had one of my favorite moments here, and I also liked seeing Soushi working behind the scenes instead of always being on the battlefield. It feels like everyone is preparing for something much bigger, and you can really feel that tension building.

Damn, so much info drop and reveal + a lot of technical detail that I'm having a hard time keeping up with. It's happening so fast! I'm genuinely confused about the technicalities that are being shown. Especially with how the power works. I think they could do a little better with the explanation. It's very interesting so far but I am so confused and there's still a lot to unpack.

It’s definitely a necessary bridge episode for the rest of the season, but as a standalone experience, it was just okay. It gives you a lot to think about regarding the sacrifices required for peace, but it definitely trades action and tight pacing for heavy lore and setup.
