EPISODE REVIEWS

The combat scenes in this episode are intensely bleak. It’s not about flashy, heroic victories anymore; it's a desperate scramble for survival. The visual direction does an amazing job of showing the sheer physical toll on the young pilots. Watching them push past their limits while trying to protect what's left of their world feels incredibly heavy and raw.

This episode hit harder emotionally than I expected. What I like about Fafner is that it never feels dramatic just for the sake of it. The emotional moments happen naturally, which somehow makes them even sadder. At this point I'm genuinely rooting for almost everyone, and that's probably why every setback feels more personal.

Looks like things aren't going great for them. On all sides. So far it's mostly the same but the last episode is what I'm really waiting for. It's this big payoff that is the one that matters. None of the other Festum mattered. Need the boss NOW.
