Synopsis

What remains of the protagonist's final high school year can be measured in two weeks: that's all the time left before winter vacation ends and everything wraps up for good. Doukyuusei 2 is a 12-episode OVA from 1996, adapted from a classic visual novel by Elf Corporation, the same studio behind the original End of Summer, and it leans hard into that format's core appeal: a cast of 15 girls, each with her own personality, backstory, and emotional arc, and one guy trying to actually connect with them before the clock runs out. The setup is simple but it works because each girl feels distinct rather than interchangeable.
