Watching the interaction between him and Misa in the park made the whole episode because their chemistry is the only thing keeping this together right now

The character designs are starting to look a bit dated but the way they use the seasonal themes to push the drama forward is still decent enough to watch

The music during that sunset walk was so melancholic and it matched the vibe of the fallen leaves better than any modern show could do

I think the way they handled the atmosphere in this episode was great because it actually felt like autumn and not just a background change and seeing the protagonist talk about his fears for after graduation while sitting on that bench was actually pretty moving for an old ecchi show, usually these things are just for fanservice but this part felt grounded and a bit depressing

The way he handles his relationships is getting frustrating because he keeps making the same mistakes and the drama feels forced in this episode

I miss this old art style so much, especially when the characters are just walking through the autumn scenery and talking about their futures because it feels so nostalgic

That conversation by the tree went on a bit too long and it felt like the plot was dragging while we waited for something to actually happen with the romance

It was nice seeing him actually try to have a real heart to heart instead of just being a creep for once and the drama felt way more grounded than usual

I really felt for the protagonist in this one because trying to juggle all those girls is starting to feel heavy and the fall setting made everything seem more lonely and sad

The colors of the leaves in that park scene were so pretty and it captured that mid 90s aesthetic perfectly without trying too hard

that scene under the tree was actually pretty sweet and it shows how much better the writing is when they focus on the quiet moments instead of just the fanservice

watching the seasons change to fall really hit me because it feels like the stakes are getting higher for the characters and their relationships before graduation happens

those fall colors in the background art look great and the atmosphere is way more laid back than the previous episodes which makes the drama feel more earned

the way the main guy just keeps stumbling into these awkward situations with the girls is so classic 90s and it actually feels like they are building a real connection for once

I really liked the melancholy autumn feel in this one and seeing the park background art made the whole thing feel so much more grounded than the usual school scenes

Watching the leaves fall while they talked about their plans after graduation made the whole thing feel a lot more bittersweet than expected

The transition into the fall season really changed the whole mood of the show, and it feels a lot more serious now than those early summer episodes. Seeing the characters deal with the cold weather, and the reality of school ending soon, is actually pretty relatable. The animation on the falling leaves looked really nice against the sunset colors this time

The sister showing actual genuine emotion for once instead of just teasing him like she usually does really caught me off guard

The tension during the sunset at the station was palpable and you could tell neither of them wanted to say goodbye yet

Those school rooftop scenes have such detailed background art that matches the mood of the girls perfectly and I think they make the 90s style look way better than today

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting at the one-third mark of the season, this episode follows the emotional weight of 'Summer - Parting - And Then...' and serves as a tonal bridge into the winter-themed stretch ahead, culminating eventually in 'White Christmas...' The series is clearly structured around seasonal chapters, and Fall marks a pivot from the heat and urgency of summer toward something more subdued and inward-facing. What happens here likely plants the emotional groundwork that the winter episodes will bring to a head.
