EPISODE REVIEWS

Gohan was actually pretty brave against those giant illusions, and it is nice seeing him just wanting a normal life before they get into more fights on the real Namek

Episode Context

Arriving just after the crew reaches Namek, this filler episode slots in before the real power struggles of the Namek Saga kick into gear. It delays the main narrative, the hunt for the Dragon Balls amid Frieza's forces, without meaningfully contributing to the escalating conflicts ahead. Viewers pushing through to the core confrontations with Vegeta, the Ginyu Force, and Frieza can skip this without missing any canonical story beats.
